Can anyone identify a Krylon Fusion or Tamiya color for hard bodies that looks like the green below? |

Pretty sure that is Flat OD Green. I think it's TS-5 for Tamiya. Krylon Fusion version... http://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K042930.../dp/B00176UX26 |

Might have to compare them, but I think a TS-5 is a little dark, there is also a TS-28 Olive Drab 2. Go to Tamiya's on-line catalog and click on Tamiya Color Spray Paint.

Thanks for the help guys, but I still haven't quite found it. Everything is too dark or too bright/pastel. I looked at Home Depot and Walmart at the Krylon and Rustoleum and no luck. Did find one I may settle for that is a tad darker, but nothing quite right. There is a Tamiya Gray Green that is close too. I may just switch back to my original idea of blue with white top or maybe a shade of brown.

It might be a tinted plastidip or matte vinyl as well. similar to this one. lighting plays a big part in the coloring as well. That picture may hav been backlit with blue/white lights to remove the more yelow tint OD green has as well. Last edited by HighToy; 04-29-2016 at 01:38 PM. |

Copper looks pretty nice on those bodies as well. |

Tracked the image to a foreign message board. They are calling it a matte sage green. Rear view. |

Land Rover Keswick Green in matte. So not olive drab. Here's the gloss version. |

Thanks for the help HighToy. I do like the copper look and after seeing that picture I may reconsider it. I have an SCX 10 Rubicon body that I painted a rust orange color and didn't want a similar look, but that does look really good. Especially with the contrasting black fenders, roof rack, and accessories. I have to consider that now, thanks again.
