Widening a body

I have the body below and would like to widen it for wraith axles. My question is how can I save the grill?

Looks like if you wanna keep tIhat logo in the middle, you'd have to widen it on each side around it.

I'd suggest narrowing the wraith axles.
It's going to be hrs and hrs of work to widen that with correct body lines

Maybe cut the entire grill area out as a whole piece and then split the body and piece it back together.

that is kind of what I was thinking was to cut the grill and then piece it back together.

I'm always regretting making a 6x6 with wraith axles until I crawl with it. The body has been more of a challenge then i thought.

You could just add to the fenders. That would leave the grill and windshield alone. Just a thought.

Hard to find now but the New Bright 1/6 CXT cabs are perfect truck bodies for a Wraith width build.

I thought about that but it is all around too narrow.

I have been looking everywhere for the international body. That was my original idea. I had no idea they would be so hard to come buy
