I did a search and couldn't find anything on this. I wanted to see what I needed to do to repaint a f-350 body. Got the truck second hand and wanted to paint it another color. The original job has some spots in it. I didn't know if I needed to strip the paint or if I could wet sand the spots and repaint. Thanks in advance for the help, Tom

hard body you can strip the paint with easy off. i used it on my bruiser and it came out fine. some of the paint that didnt come off i just sanded nice and smooth. sanded the rest of the body then shot primer. after that dries shoot your base color.

Easy-Off will strip the paint right off, or you can wet-sand it and prime over it. Do you know what it was painted with? Some primers may react badly if it was shot with model paint like Testors.

It is a hard body. I will try Easy off. I have some anodizing on other parts that I have to get off anyway. Thanks Tom
