Default body mount question

Trying to find a way to mount this body without messing it up too bad with clips. Maybe some kind of cap that threads on. Any ideas?[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

proline made some sweet threaded mounts for short course trucks i use them on my race trucks and they seem to do a great job of not cracking the body. Maybe you can make something work from those?

I come across some nifty magnetic body mounts on banggood last night, something light might work...although you already have holes in your body....

These have been used by members here, I have a set I will be trying out - they require some modding of your existing body posts:

Likewise, these work, too (with mods) :

I prefer the aluminum JConcepts, but the plastic ProLine's may not scuff the body as much...

I tried the captured magnets for body mounts on my crawler and I hate them. The body would get misaligned or knocked off every time you rolled. Magnetic body mounts are best left to on-road cars IMO. Velcro would be a better solution. You custom make a flat mount that's mounted between the body mounts and put velcro on there as well as on the underside of the body.

Velco stuck better than magnets for me.
Dingo to Bug - First SCX10 build

Edit- Got bigger magnets. Work great.
