Default 1/6 Willy's body repair

So I had a major roll that was very steep and 15 ft or more of a drop. It bent the roolgace and it broke the body at one of th mounting points and also body damage from bouncing off the rock that it was crawling on.

Cage is aluminum so it is easy to repair.

There is other body damage that I had to glue the body by both door openings also.

When I get all the repairs done I will need to do a paint job. Lots of damage to a body that is quite expensive to replace.

So here is what was done to solve the damage. I mounted a frame mount to the roll cage. This should have been done in the first place.
The over sight cost me. Oh well, it's done now.

The front was also broken from this crash. I think the frame must have twisted because the places that broke look like it stressed the body parts and broke parts and not so much from impact.

This repair is the tricky one. I used hockey tape to make the shape needed to epoxy this rounded corner.

I have some touch up to do and then it's time to do some paint work.
Roll cage is fixed and I think I will stay with the soft top on. You just don't see many with a top.

It must have been one bad roll over/tumble to do that much damage. Glad to see that you fixed the damage and got back out on the trail.

It's not my favorite but I'm glad I was able to do the build.

This is my favorite scaler.
