That is if anybody still waxes floors ....LOL
Used to bring black dress shoes to a mirror polish in the Marines with that trick.

Some old NCO / Drill Instructor thing... Weren't supposed to admit to it during inspections!

(sorta like taking our M16s in the shower with us and steam-cleaning them before inspections - immediately afterwards we double-timed it back to the armory to lube 'em back up before they started rusting!)

When I read the title of this thread I was thinking the same as others...if you're worried about scratches then crawling is not for you.

Until I saw the pictures of the truck and now I understand. Is that a drag truck? Do you have more pictures? It looks great from the back.

Thanks , I thought I'd post this thread because I know that lots of others have rigs that we like to keep pretty AND drive, not always crawlers. (some like to keep their crawlers lookin' nice too )
And yep, there's a build thread on her down in the "non-crawlers", it's the "F-100 Boat Puller ...." (the boat's down there too). She's kind of a double-duty rig, and she has a bit of a back-story, check it out and enjoy.

And thanks again to everyone who's contributed , it actually is a valid subject for a thread.

I have used Soft Scrub Sink cleaner before, but cant seem to find it anymore. It works well on minor scratches.

Guys in the Slot Car Hobby have been doing this for a long time (floor polish) here is a quote from a thread: Just brush it on with a soft brush and cover the entire surface...not just the decals. Let dry and apply another coat...up to 2-3 coats. DO NOT TOUCH until completely dry or you will get finger prints on the finish. After it dries it leaves a very nice shine and protects the decals perfectly.
