My problem isn't that there are too many Jeep bodies, there just aren't the ones that I want! So, more Jeeps! They're bound to hit the target eventually!

JConcepts is starting to do it right. Lexan bodies, for far too long, have had weak details on the front due to the limitations of vacuum forming. Vaterra got it right with the K5 Blazer body. That body is lexan, but the grill is a chrome plated injection molded part. There's a lot of details. This simple step makes lexan bodies look 100% better. JConcepts is doing something similar with their new 1951 Ford Panel Truck monster truck body. The grill is a separate, lexan piece to get more details. It looks great. I'm still baffled that ProLine, a leader in RC car bodies, is not doing this yet. |
