Default RC4WD Blazer grill on a cold

I am contemplating on putting a rc4wd blazer grill on a cold cab to get that round headlight look. Do you guys think it should fit. I narrowed / dove the front end so I'm not worried about width dimensions.....mainly scale fitness

Thanks for the help

Might be wrong, but I doubt it. I think it's closer to the Ascendor grills.

Yeah, I meant Clod

It looks like the RC4WD dimensions are a tad larger, but hacked and narrowed it might not look too much out of place you think??

Idk, but the body lines won't match either.

The rc4wd is designed for a 73-80 squarebody, they've got different fenders and hoodlines. Note the curved tops of fenders, roll over hood, and the hood goes clear to the windshield. No wiper cowl.

Clodbuster and ascender are 81-87 square. Note squared off fenders and hood, shorter hood, and separate wiper cowl.

I genuinely don't know the size comparisons, but just wanted to offer my knowledge for the 1.1 differences.

I wish they made the hardbody for 81-87 K5's though. I'd love a hard body replica.

If you're dead set on a 73-80 clip, cpe sells the inserts for clod bodies

Just be prepared to possibly wait a long time if you order from CPE. And the customer service blows.

I used to order from them quite often and the shipping speed was decent, but never great. Then my last order took weeks to even ship. Apparently the owner randomly goes on road trips and drops his business and doesn't tell anybody. He'll take your money right away, but you'll get your stuff at his leisure.

On this last order I received a defective CYS servo. I messaged him on Facebook and never got a response so I emailed him. About a month later after no responses I finally filed a PayPal claim. He was suddenly available to deny that claim almost instantly on the same day. I then had to escalate it to a claim because he was again unresponsive. Again, he was suddenly available to respond to PayPal almost instantly and said I needed to return the servo for any action to be taken. It was a $20 servo so instead of wasting money to ship it back to this guy I took my loss and learned my lesson to never order from him ever again.

Damn, I just ordered a bunch of stuff to get mine going 3 weeks ago from him.

Took almost a week from placing the order for him to ship it, shipping was quick at that point. Maybe 3 days, but I was frustrated it took almost 10 days total.

Explains why, and makes me second guess my 2nd order from them..

Yep this is pretty common when ordering from Crawford. You don't even get an email or anything giving you the heads up that shipping will be delayed. It's horrible customer service.

I found out the reasoning when I complained online. His diehard fans pretty much attacked me for voicing my displeasure. His hardcore fans will defend him to no end and I'm not sure why, but your experience and mine are not uncommon.
