| Custom 84 GMC
So my dad has bought a 84 GMC also known as the square body to some and I have decided to put my brain in gear and see what I could do with it in 1/10 scale. Ever since he has baught it I have been wanting to do a build with it. Mostly because I didn't wanna just order a Body I wanted to build something from scratch. This is going to be a long but slow build because I am in no hurry to do it and I want the exact specifics that the real truck has and want it to be as close to the real one as possible. I have got a few pics to help show what it's going to look like. This truck is in the process of having a custom bed build for it so not sure if I'm gonna build a actul truck bed for it or build the custom bed for it ( thinking process). Didn't start taking pictures till after I had about 2 hours in it and that was my fault but here is what I've got so far. Last edited by scalecrawlerguy114; 10-13-2016 at 08:11 PM. |

I like the direction your Dad's truck is going, shouldn't be too hard to replicate. Go for the custom bed to match it, IMHO... There are beadlock rings that match those 1:1 available. Keep us posted! |

Going to try and keep y'all updated day by day and everything is in this build. Today I got the other door glued on and started working on the dashboard. Dashbord shouldn't take but a few days then going to finish up the inside and put some paint on it and finish gluing up the inside. I know this looks like a mess with the glue and I might have got carried away but hey I sure as heck want it to stick together lol going to work on cleaning it up. |

More progress on the dashboard. Got almost everything ready to be glued down and painted. Got the doors bent and fitted and letting them dry and only a few more days I'll be ready to paint the inside and start on the front clip. Seat is painted don't know if I want to add more details because it kinda looks to plain and simple and ideas? |
