Default Tamiya F350 hard body

so this is my first hard body that i bought for my RC truck Hauler, was wondering what everyone used to fill in holes? like on the side where it is normally attached to the truck with screws i plan on using velcro under it like i did with my proline lexan body, but want to fill in the holes before i paint.

Also do you still need to use the polycarbonate paint? or any paint for plastic will work?

Also any tips on painting would be greatly apprecated thanks.

thanks man, velcro should hold for what i use the truck for....i don't crawl with it just pulls a trailer with either my mud truck or wraith on it, maybe up and down some trails. i have doing some looking and have read that Krylon or rustolium spray paints work really well as well?

I used body putty to fill all of my holes in. I use velcro to hold my body on and it works just. I use mine the same as you plan. I painted mine with Paint from the hardware stores that works on plastic.

Haven't had any problems yet. Just put it on in stages.

Holes can be filled with styrene rod then skim coated with filler to finish it off

Velcro does work well, and if you do decide to run it a bit harder you can always go to rare earth magnets to hold the body on.

I filled with styrene then body putty to skim it smooth. Just don't go too thick at a time and do several layers.
