Default Enamel paint?

I ordered a axial dingo body and I have my sawback body that's needs a new paint job. I've used testors one coat lacquer paint on my tamiya semi trucks with good results and was wondering if I could use testors Enamel paint on the lexan bodies because of color choices ??? The dingo will be painted on the inside but the sawback will be on the outside how do yous think it will hold up? If not how will the testors one coat lacquer stick to lexan? I have two new cans on the shelf that I might want to use

You can use it on the outside, the enamel will work if you use a regular polycarbonate paint as a primer then use the enamel over that

Steve is right, polycarbonate paint on the lexan surface first. If painting on the inside, Tamiya makes a flat clear, lay that down first, before the enamel.

Lacquer doesn't mix with anything except a lacquer primer. If you try to use it over an enamel or polycarbonate paint it will bubble and peel, even if the bottom coat is dry. Lacquer re-activates the chemicals in the enamel or acrylic paint causing it to bubble.

Well that sucks, I have two new cans of paint I'd love to use and looks like I'll be buying lexan paint in something close to what I like. Thanks guys

Why can't you use it..? Pick up a can of polycarbonate silver for primer and you're good. I paint them all on the outside anyway.. the one that's clear take copper color and spray the inside so when it gets scratched it will show rust
