Default Beast II Body Questions/Recommendations

I have finally started working on my Beast II body, I have made great progress. However, I am wanting to get input before I go much further.

I was wondering what the best paint/primer to use is?

Do I need to sand the body before painting? If so, what grit sand paper should I use?

What is the best filler/putty to use on styrene bodies?

Thanks!

No sanding unless you want to. Just about any paint will work. I use tamiya acrylics.

Use styreen as filler. Then use the glue to melt it into the shape you want.

There are lots of good paint choices. I happen to like Tamiya and Model Master, but I've also gotten good results from Valspar cans at Lowes. I prefer the colored paint to have a flat finish (easier to work with) and then use clear coats to build up to the desired level of gloss.
