| Opinions on filling holes
I got a LunchBox for Xmas! I know it's not a crawler ( it's not even 4x4), I am looking for the best way to fill the antenna hole in the roof. In talking with others I have heard putty, backing with tape then putty, and filling with some styrene rod. I want to do the best job I can, that being said the LunchBox won't see a lot of use its more of a nostalgia build for me ( I've wanted one since they came out in 87). I've never had a hard body before but do have experience with bodywork on 1:1 cars. Opinions and Ideas welcome, Thanks! |

Put some MEK in a jar (small amount) add some styrene dust or even scrap chunks. Parts tree scrap works to. Let the mixture sit over night and you will have a paste. Smooth it on and let it dry. Then it's ready for sanding. Works the trick |

Testors also makes a body filler for hard plastic model bodies. That should work as well.
