|  Tamiya AS paints on lexan body
Hi, does anyone have experience using Tamiya AS paints on the outside of a lexan body. I understand I will need a coat of PS first as a primer. Any advice would be appreciated.

I paint all my lexan bodies on the outside using this method. I use cheap duratrax silver as the primer, then let it dry completely and cover it with whatever you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'd also recommend using copper on the inside so that it looks rusty as the paint scrapes off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Myself and superdrty have done this many times. I've found ps5 and ps12 from tamiya to be the best base/primer coat. I personally have had issues using duratrax as the base.
