Default Taillight lenses

Any one made taillight lenses from an actual taillight or marker light before? I picked up one today and made 2 lenses for my Lunchbox. It's not easy stuff to work with, needs to be scored almost all the way thru to snap it or it cracks everywhere and pretty difficult to cut nicely with snips or cutters. I need to try and heat them next to contour them a little on the ends. Any thoughts on glue that won't turn them hazy?

Default Re: Taillight lenses

I've used flat round reflectors to make small, round scale reflectors for the big scale Jeeps. My method included a drill press and a leather hole punch die. I've used 'shoe goo' and 'canopy glue' ( made for mounting clear canopy glass on model aircraft) with good results.
