Default Any home powdercoaters care to share their setup?

So I've seen lots of "budget" setups that connect to an air hose. What is the quality really like? Does backing in these smaller counter top ovens really work?

Thanks in advance.

Absolutely let me know! I' m just trying to get an idea of what it would take. But for the right price why not jump in.

When my old stove was replaced, it found a new home in my garage next to my 220 outlet. It's now my dedicated PC oven.

The drawer below holds all of the equipment, and the top was replaced with an MDF top and it became my drill press stand.

If you do a few pieces at a time, I've heard of very good results with the counter ovens. I like to do large batches though so I like the full size oven.

This doesn't require a large air compressor does it?

Sweet. I was just curious since those counter ovens can sort of concentrate heat to a small area versus spread out.

I used a small toaster oven for smaller parts and bought a old 220 oven to put in my garage for bigger parts.

Not at all. I use a small pancake compressor meant for finish nailers.

I hadn't thought about the heat concentration. That's a good point though because I know I can't put parts too close to the wall of my oven or it will make the finish turn out funny.

At the maker space that I go to, we have an Eastwood PC oven to bake the small parts. It honestly looks like a big toaster oven to me but it seems to work just fine. The gun setup is almost exactly like the one in the pic above. It seems to work well, it gets used daily by different people and no one has managed to break it yet.
