Best Paint For Aluminum Wheels?????

Guys, I just picked up a set of very nice but used TSS Monster 1.9 beadlocks. This style of wheel does not have a outer bolt on ring for protection so the outer edge is exposed to the elements. I plan on sandblasting the wheels on a low air setting and repainting them. What type of paint do you recommend? I was thinking a bake on ceramic type paint for 1.1 calipers would be strong........ Any feedback would be very welcomed. "thumbsup"

The ceramic type I imagine would be very strong.

I am doing my aluminum body panels with PlastiKote brand etching primer (states "excellent adhesion to bare metal, resists corrosion, sandable" on label).

It's a lacquer, to be topcoated with either lacquer or enamel.

It's for use on aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and most rigid plastics...

You could reduce your worries about durability by sanding the outer ring back to silver and leave the rest painted, then the issue with rock chips would be negated.

But, I too prefer wheels a solid color most of the time.

Excellent option. I considered cerakote or even powder but don't want the down time also wouldn't be able to repair. I know they will end up getting scratched up regardless but I want to be the one doing it. I know epoxy is another good option due to its abrasion resistance and it's tough. I am going to do some more research. If anyone else has a great option please chime in.
