Tail lights and corner light paint???

I'm painting a scx10.2 and masked off the rear tail lights. I don't like the sticker that comes with the kit for the rear. Was thinking of painting on transparent (see through) type of paint to make it look more realistic. And something I could add lights to.

Also the front turn signal comes clear. I would like to paint that realistic amber. That I could have a light shine through.

Is there a spray paint option? Or something I could apply with a paint brush? I don't have a airbrush. So that's not a option for me.

What is out there? Pictures of what the results would be?

btw Tamiya also supplies orange for turn signals...

And if applying to lexan/poly plastics...

https://www.amazon.com/Tamiya-Polyca...QXMHSVZ9KBE5M4

https://www.amazon.com/PS-43-Tamiya-.../dp/B001Q0ZEN6

tho' IMO that later doesn't work as well for hand brushed applications.
And requires a backing to ensure other paints applied do not infringe.
