Default Tan and black interior paint for styrene

Getting ready to paint the interior parts I made for my k5 ascender.

My question is what is the best type of paint and primer? I want a tan interior with black accents, then a black wash to dirty or darken up the interior a bit. I do not own an airbrush.

Tyvm for any help!

Almost any paint will work on styrene, even lexan paint. Use flats or satin... Black wash can be purchased from model masters, Tamiya, etc. Or, make your own. Thin the black paint of your choice down to a very watery condition, thinner as better as you can always do more coats to achieve the desired effect. I like water based paints for black wash, spray with a dull coat/matte clear to water proof when finished.

If you want a realistic interior color and sheen, check out SEM Color Coat. It's specifically designed to color fabric and plastic back to OEM automotive standards. I did the entire interior of my Camaro with it, went from Saddle Tan to Landeau Black. Headliner, sun visors, all the vinyl and trim. Never had it come off other than some crazy scratches that gouged deep enough into the plastic (putting chairs into the trunk for a car show.... UGH!)
