A darker paint or multicolor paint job really makes this look better. Hoping proline does better next time.

I agree, the darker color does hide that body line pretty well. Nice color!

That blue looks awesome on that body.

I'd like to see what a set of 1.55's with 3.7-4.0 sized tires look like with one of these bodies.

That's the plan for this one. I've got some growlers going to put on it. I do want some 1.55 rock beasts though.

Not bad. Tell us how you did the rust.

I used some of this from Hobby Lobby. Paint on the iron paint in your desired location then spray it with the oxidizer. I put mine in a trash bag for a day or so and before you know you have rust. I also painted these bodies on the outside.

VTH, had the best paint jobs I have seen on his second Gen Proline SR5 pickup. I'm certain his technique will spill over to the 4RNR

Waiting for our LHS to get these. They do look a bit narrower than the stock SCX10-ii body. No rubbing issues?

I haven't run the truck yet but looks like I'll have slight run at full articulation in the rear. Front is just shy of rubbing.

Just looked at some 1:1 pics of them and while the line is definitely there on both the 4runner and pickups it is way less pronounced and doesn't curve down as much. I think the silver paint makes it even worse. It is much less noticeable in the later pics with other colors and graphics. I think I need to see one in person to make a final judgment.

I think what VTR did with the full length body stripes, seems to hide that line the best....
It's not a BAD body. In fact, it looks pretty good.
I almost think that Pro-Line was TRYING not to make it look too much like the old Kyosho body.
That body line IS a bit excessive, and the lack of recessed headlights - given today's technology, is a FAIL.

I HOPE that Pro-Line reads these......

I agree man. Would love some 3D parts too and then I'd repaint on the outside.
