ProLine Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Clear Body with Interior...Womp Womp

I was all pumped when I saw the news that ProLine is offering a lexan Jeep body with interior. Then I read it was 1/24th scale and made for the Ambush. We, the 1/10th scale guys, have only been asking for lexan interiors forever. How many Ambushes could ProLine have possible sold? I am willing to bet that an interior for 1/10th scale body would sell better. Is this just another sign that ProLine is losing touch?

I did a bit of trimming on the Pro line XJ interor and was able to fit it in my 2 door JK body

Going off of memory that's not the correct interior for the Wrangler though.

When you sell the chassis/underpinnings, it's a lot easier to design an interior that works.

That is true, but ProLine sells universal interiors that need modification to work with certain bodies and rigs.

From what I remember, that interior was designed for the XJ body they sold, requiring no mods. But they make so many bodies that making one for each isn't cost effective, presumably. It's an economy of popularity. I hope they release more, like the new Bronco that has a full deep interior and separate dash.

Hmmm. Indeed loosing touch just ever so slightly with a move like that, yet always right there in the spotlight of talk with a new crawler 1/10 body. I have a hunch on another Silverado from them, or maybe another Ford.
