I wanted one of these Mattel Spin Welder kits so bad when I was a kid! Never had one though.

I watched the Ask Fran video a while back and and then saw this write up https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_...8815&sid=35302. I use my dremel and plastic welding sticks from harbor freight. You can also use leftover bits from parts trees.





My first welds were crap but I had to start somewhere.


Buffed out good enough for me with a dremel and sand paper

I remember way back when I was a kid there were these car kits that you assembled with a friction welder.

in the 70s, Toys of the Seventies, Spinwelder
