New Wrangler Unlimited Body from Xtra Speed

I havnt seen anything on here about this Body, so I am assuming this is a newer product and figured it may be helpful to share some pics here incase someone out there was interested.

I have been in search for a wrangler body for my SCX10 2 for some time now. The New Brights are tough to find and crazy expensive for a nice one. I came across this body on Ebay and it looks Awesome!! I will be uploading pics as my build starts/progresses for you guys. But here is a preview of whats in the box. Feel free to ask any questions. But if your looking for a scale wrangler body, this one should hit every mark for you.

I got this from ebay (link below). The name of the company was RCMart (china based). But the quality from what i can tell is pretty solid.

Can I trouble you for better pics of the grill?

From what I can see in the eBay link, the blue finished body's grill doesn't appear to match the image of the unpainted (white) grill.

Not to mention the finished blue one seems to have the angry eye grill which is what I would want also.

It actually has a partial "angry grill" if that makes sense. I have the angry eyes on my jeep and i will be creating a scale jeep with this so i will have to modify a little. But here are some more shots for you:

Pretty cool, but it's another friggin' Jeep. When will they make hard bodies besides Jeep, Land Rover, and Toyota?

yeah, i know a guy who would love a 79 ford F-150 hard body... ;)

or if it has to be a jeep, i bet tons of people would buy a 1st gen grand Cherokee.

i would like to have a hardbody 2013 GMC sierra 4 door short bed. i had a Earnhardt SS silverado hardbody several years ago, but they arent wide enough for a scx10 II. i think the wheels stick out too far.

What else would they make except GMs or a Dodge?

Am I the only one, or does this grille look weird. ( I'm a TJ guy so I'm not a fan of the weird grille conversions)

GM, Dodge, Ford, International, etc. There are tons that haven't been made.

It's not just you. Jeep grills have 7 slots. Always have, always will. If it's not 7 slots it's not a Jeep. End of discussion. I remember when this body was released I immediately wrote it off because the back door is too short and the grill isn't a Jeep.

So a Grand Wagoneer, J10, Wagoneer, XJ Cherokee, ZJ Cherokee and the Willy's aren't real Jeeps?

The Wagoneer/J10 is the only one in your list that doesn’t have a 7 slot grill and we know those are bastard children (with the exception of a handful of Willy’s years). So yeah... Jeeps have 7 slot grills.

XJ Cherokee has 8-slot, early ZJ Grand Cherokee is 8-slot, Grand Wagoneer doesn't even have slots, J10 has too many slots to count, Gladiator doesn't have slots either.

The Wrangler, Patriot, Compass and Liberty are the only Jeep's to have always had 7-slot grilles though, but if that's your metric for what a "real Jeep is," I don't think you quite understand what a Jeep is.

I would say any Wrangler with no seven slot grille isn't a jeep. J-10s, Cherokees, wagoners and willys are some of my favorites, not to mention they all are the foundation of the jeep brand.
