SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? As far as i know, an ax10 body will fit on the scx10 chassis, but what about the other way around? I am looking at both a hilux body as well as a jeep body for my ax10. All the specs match up, just wondering if anyone has actually done this that can vouch for proper fitment. I am aware i will most likely have to bring my rubbers down to 1.9's, but i am talking as far as hole placement on the body, trimming, etc. TIA! |
Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? AX-10 is side post body mounts. |

Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? Oh, alrighty then. My bad. I'm used to the older AX-10. |
Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? body posts don't line up, but wheelbase is close to the 12.3 scx10 bodies. My ridgecrest posts were good bit wider than scx10 posts are. |
Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? The deadbolt, Wraith jeep and spawn from axial fits it good. Maybe also the new proline bronco with interior. |
Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? thank you all for the replies, will be reporting back with the results! |
Re: SCX10 body fitment for an AX10? I used an RC4WD Expedition (Lexan) body that was sized for an SCX10 on an AX10. It fit, but the wider axles and 2.2" wheels would catch the fender flares. If you cut the body, it might fit without clearance issues. I sold the AX10 and put the body on an SCX10. |
