|  Removing paint from the RTR xj body.
Since tower is dragging tail on getting in some clear bodies, I can live with the gray one for now, but I want to add some of those tail light buckets. What's the easiest way to remove the paint from just the tail light area? Don't want to use brake fluid because it may run onto the other areas. Could I mask it off and use some 600-1000 grit sandpaper to just knock off the paint? Doesn't have to be crystal clear since I'll be painting over the outside with transparent paint. Anybody else have an easier solution?

It's printed, not painted. Sanding it off is probably the only thing that might work.

Some 220 grit paper, and about 30 minutes.  And it looks like the stickers will act like lenses.   |

| Re: Removing paint from the RTR xj body.  Also cleaned up the wiring.   Added the 4-way plug so I could power the light bar separately, I put a switch on the lightbar ground, and ran everything to the battery connector, going to run a small 2 or 3s lipo for just the lights.
