| rc4wd d90 hardbody on scx10
hey guys ive got an scx10 with a 12" wheelbase, and i was looking at the rc4wd d90 which has a 11.10" wheelbase. i can shorten my wheelbase easily enough but does the body fit over the chassis rails or do they need to be shortened? i currently have the 1.9 falken wildpeak tires that came stock with it, would i need to get some smaller tires, possibly 1.55? if anyone has pics of it installed on an scx10 they could share that would be great. Thanks! |

This is mine as it currently sits - the body is sitting in Lego pillars at a height that allows full suspension travel: I had to make the rear shorter than the front. Thread here: How to shorten a Deadbolt to fit a D90 body I've ordered a set of 1.55 wheels so I can drop the body down without having to trim it. Plan is for the RC4WD body to be uncut and use the 1.55s, the Boom Racing body will have the arches cut so it can run with the 1.9s. As far as I can tell I won't have to shorten the chassis. |

cheers for the reply mate, im correct in saying they are 1.9 tires on it at the moment? looks like the chassis will fit without having to shorten it. |
