Default Help: DIY mudguard /fenders

Does anyone have a guide to make diy mudguards for scx10 II wrangler body, I’d buy some but can’t find it anywhere.

Do you mean like actual mudflaps that hang down behind the tires (like a semi) or inner fenders up inside the wheel wells?

YouTube has a few videos on how to make inner fenders from all sorts of things. Even dollar store Tupperware.

Yup. I’ve bought 2 sets of the Axial inner fenders and made a 3rd set from cheap o Tupperware type bowls from Walmart. I much prefer the Walmart bowls, and they also cost about $2 for a pack of them.

I don't remember where I saw it but I ran across some information where someone formed DIY inner fenders out of Gorilla tape. Sounds hokey but they actually looked pretty slick. For myself, I mounted a Vaterra Assender Blazer body on one of my TRX4s and just purchased an extra set of TRX4 Defender inner fenders for $12 and mounted them to the chassis with zip ties then used Gorilla tape to widen them to fill the gap between the inner fender and body. Basically a crush panel made of Gorilla tape. Here is a pic of the TRX4 inner fenders zip tied to the chassis with Gorilla tape used to make the crush panel extensions.

Look through the scale build threads, 90% of the builders using lexan bodies have made or purchased some kind of inner fenders. Here's one of mine
