Mirrors..

I got the Chevy 1500 body for Christmas and ordered the tube rear set from rc4wd for the back for my scx10. I'm wanting to add mirrors, my Cherokee body now had both mirrors but one got ripped off.

Do people just use those mirrors off of rc4wd? I bought my rig used so I'm not sure where the guy got the mirrors

there are tons of mirrors on thingiverse, especially for the SCX10 Cherokee bodies.
i don't like the RC4WD mirrors for their chevy bodies. they hang out way to far and just look too big. i have seen better ones, but i forget where.

And don't fogt the Axial exterior parts tree. Nice soft plastic, chrome stickers and very durable mounting

You could also check out Shapeways - they will 3D print what you find - they have quite a bit of R/C body accessories. I just got some parts from them, although mine were functional, rather than for appearance.

Believe its all black, but sure there is way to put a mirror glass look to them

Seems like I heard of some using tin foil, but I don't think that would be too durable.

I just ordered a pair of the rubber ones off ebay for $11 which actually look like GM mirrors. I will hit them with some silver paint and chrome sticker before installing them.
