Default Custom Aluminum Wraith Body Panels

Here are some pics of the aluminum body panels I made. Suggestions and opinions would be great! Thanks for looking

Some average size M3 2.0 mm drive screws instead of the M2s in 1.5 mm drive

I'd drop by Harbor Freight or wherever and get a flat file and a round file... smooth out the edges, round off the curves & corners.

They look pretty damn tough, thicker gauge than typical... should hold up well!

I've got some Plasticote self-etching primer that I'm going to paint my Bomber panels in, and then you can topcoat with either enamel or lacquer.

Haven't done it yet, but I had researched it prior to buying paints... gonna use Tamiya TS spray-cans for the final color over the grey primer.

That's good work! X2 on smoothing the edges, but I'm impressed with the panels. Some people (ME!), have trouble cutting Plastic panels...
That looks VERY rugged.

Thanks! I am going to file it and clean up the edges, but I am waiting for paint, and some proper sand paper. And for the TS paint, it is good stuff. I just used it on a hardbody and it looks great!

Thanks! I was trying to achieve the look of “full doors” so I could make a nice interior for it, and I wanted to replace my half roof with a full roof. I’ve seen your spawn build, and I thinks your body looks pretty cool!

Excellent work. I personally like the full door look.

Once your done filingthe edges to tour final shape, run the edges on a wire wheel. Smooths them out and does a nice radius edge.

Thanks for the idea about the wire wheel! I will have to try that. I agree, the full doors do have a nice look, and different for me as far as this rig.

IMO if your leaving the cage black then go 2 shades lighter on the body color then what you have so it doesn't blend so much.

Think i like Orange? ** My hood was being made when i took these so has the stocker.
