Default Axial Bomber panel measurements? For custom metal panels

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone out there has a detailed pdf or jpeg with the axial bomber body panels on it? I am gonna have a friend cut some them out with a plasma cutter machine so I can have some custom metal panels.

Thanks in advance

I was thinking that old computer side panels would make for some burly replacement panels. I'm in the middle of scrapping 2 huge desktop PC's at the moment, and I'm not wanting to throw away the perfect sheet metal! I do have stock Bomber lexan panels, unpainted... As well as an aftermarket mix of aluminum ones, I think every panel is a different vendor because I liked one vendors hood, another's roof, etc.

Yeah I am noticing that as well. I have access to a plasma torch machine that can cut out some pretty intricate stuff. I was just wondering if anyone had any panels that they had made and had the measurements. Other wise I will take the lexan ones and come up with my own.

Plasma is going to leave a ratty edge on them that you won't like. I use .040 on rc bodies, others use .030 for what its worth. Flatten out your lexan panels for a pattern and you're about done. Hood is only a little more difficult. Cut out with snips and file the edges smooth. Bend where required with vise grip tongs. If you have access to a sheet metal shop (your buddy with the plasma table), easier yet. Do your entire body. Great sense of satisfaction when you built it yourself.
