Lexan is really difficult to heat / bend. The line between hot enough to bend, and ruining the lexan is very fine.

It is possible but like Highmark said, it's really easy to overheat it.

If you're looking to make a damaged body that would be the way to do it. What are you trying to accomplish?

Just want to bend lexan to cover up the wires that are showing on the bottom of the running borad on the PL DODGE PW.

i go to the dollar store for stuff like that and use a hack saw to cut them without cracking. might be hard to find them in black tho.

I found a link to a nifty bonding chemical that I may try out in the future for modding Lexan (Polycarbonate) - supposed to allow bonding parts together yet leaving the bonded area clear, instead of making it whiten or yellow...

Weld-On 4 Acrylic Adhesive - 4 Oz and Weld-On Applicator Bottle with Needle:

I've had really good luck bonding lexan with Plastruct Bondene (not contaminated by other plastics such as ABS/Styrene). One of the major chemicals in it is methylene chloride. That's what you need to bond lexan without clouding, or making it brittle. It's a true solvent weld. I also picked up some plastic welding from flex-i-file that I'm pretty certain is almost pure methylene chloride. It definitely smells different than Bondene and has a warning label stating that it contains the chemical. I can't find an MSDS/SDS sheet for it though confirming this.
