Default Shoo goo to metal?

Anybody ever tried cementing plastic to aluminum with Shoo Goo or E6000?

I used goop glue to put a metal washer on shoelaces for my Seatbelts.
That type of glue works on everything.

Yep, used some E6000 to attach an aluminum bracket to an ABS hardbody for a micro crawler last year. Still holding strong.

Thanks! I wasn't sure how dependent the adhesive properties would be on ability to dissolve/fuse the two materials. I think I'm going to try it then.

I used E6000 to attach a piece of flat steel to the bottom of a hard body to act as a magnetic surface for the mount magnets. Worked very well.

I used E6000 to mount magnets to hold the body on. Sticks like glue!

I see what you did there

Just E6000'd the PCB board I used as the velcro base for the front body mount of my current build to the aluminum body posts (work donates a lot of handy things for RC's). Didn't hurt that I screwed up and drilled the pass-thru holes perfectly so it was already a tight fit, but yeah, it seemed to work just fine!
