| Hilux cab back width
Never worked with styrene and trying to be budget friendly at the moment. I need a cab back for my Blackfoot cab since I cut the bed off. I'm wondering how wide and tall the hilux cab back is to see if its an option for a cab back. I plan on using Blackfoot rear window so won't need to try to fit the hilux window in. I've looked but didn't find anything for measurements. |

This is measurements for the cab Width: 7" (177mm) Height: 5" (121mm) Does that sound about right for the cab back? |

Got some time to measure my cab. Whole height of the cab is 4 1/2 ish and the width where I need to fill is 5". So I believe the hilux cab back will fit the job just fine. Last edited by hillbillyrc; 06-10-2018 at 07:38 PM. |

Well I recently got my cab back for this mini project. After I cut it up to fit the next course of action is to secour it in place. This is my first harbody so have another question. Can I use pieces of the cover that is molded in to the top of the Blackfoot bed to plate the butt joint of where the cab and cab back will meet and glue with e6000? Will it be strong enough to take abuse? I do plan to drive like I stole it. Lol I do plan on securing my bom rear cage to the cab back to take advantage of the flip lid function built in to the cage. |
