|  Has anyone tried the print your own decals paper?
I saw it on one of the main RC parts websites. I guess you can make your own decals and print them off your own printer at home with this special paper. Anyone know what I am talking about and tried it? Just wondering how good the quality is? I get the sharpness of the pictures will be how good your printer is, but how does it hold up, pros and cons?

Get the correct type of decal paper on eBay and you can print your own with most home printers.

I was just thinking about water decals the other day. I remember them from 20 years ago when I used to build models (Revell and such). They were thinner and less obvious than vinyl stickers. I'm guessing they're not waterproof?

Water-slide decals can be water proof if you spray clear over-top of them. I have used them for years making decals for my kids Pinewood Derby cars. I also made a license plate decal for my Silverado build with them. This is clear coated and has seen a lot of water.  3 years later....A little scuffed but has survived a lot of creeks  |
