Default Coyote colors?

I just ordered the Carisma Coyote body and need some paint ideas. I know some of you have an eye for picking the right color or scheme, so let's hear them!

I'd think that body would benefit from being in a matte finish, as it's got a vintage style...

So whatever color you decide on, you could do the usual spraying on from underneath - and then mask the exterior of the windows and shoot it with matte clear.

I've got a personal liking for a Tamiya color called PS-49 Metallic Blue - it's a blue like that used on vintage American cars from the 60's...

aka "SKY BLUE ANODIZED ALUMINUM"

I'm planning on doing my '72 Chevy K10 Vaterra cab using it - but someday I might need to pick up one of those Coyote bodies, direct fit for the Ascender chassis at 285mm!

Matte or satin would look good on the body.

I think an old shop truck just screams off this body.

The backing color is unknown, the pic was Googled and the build thread didn't mention it - but there are many bodies to be found if you also do a search on Tamiya PS49...

I included that one because it was a crawler.

I've seen pics where it was backed with black, and it also looked very nice.

I have the pre-painted body on back order, which comes in a matte black finish. No word on when it'll show up. I really like that look.

I came across the clear version for a decent price and scooped it up also. I was thinking I'd do a nicely painted version.
