Same boring colors.

We need someone to release some damn earthtones, in rattlecans...

Not everyone owns an airbrush and is willing to mix to get custom colors.

...and someone over there has been listening!

I saw a couple new military colors a while back, but they aren't done yet:

Part # 6325-14 Mars Red Oxide
MSRP $7.95
Part # 6325-15 Sting Yellow
MSRP $7.95
Part # 6326-05 Metallic Deep Blue
MSRP $8.95
Part # 6327-07 Pearl Green
MSRP $8.95
NEW 6-PACK SETS
Part # 6323-04 Military Set: Mil Spec Green, Mojave Sand, Primer Gray, Dark Earth, Mars Red Oxide, Matte Clear
MSRP $47.95
Part # 6323-05 Pure Metal Set: Metallic Charcoal, Metallic Copper, Metallic Gold, Metallic Pewter, Metallic Deep Blue, Aluminum

Now, if they would only release rattlecans?

I remember back in my model building days. There was a cheap set up air brush but it sat atop a can of air. So it was a mix of airbrush and rattle can.

Edit: something like this
Badger Air-Brush Co. 250-3 Basic Spray Gun Set with Propel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003972JIW..._kDNqDbEQ9TEMK

I remember those, but if I could come up with an extra $50, could get this compressor/airbrush/regulator combo:

I like the new paint, that said I really don’t understand why it wont spray as easy as shown. My Airbrushes use a .30 tip not a.5

So reduction and increase pressure. Im reducing about 20% at 45psi

I went thru This with fascolor also

Look for a good suction feed brush, I think in the long run I think you would find it more versatile. I've been painting bodies since the early 90s so I have a little experience with air brushes. Ya, when your as old as me you have kind of done it all. Ever here the saying "jack of all trades but master on none" that be me!

I havent tried it yet but I'm curious if it is the same paint that was sold by parma? I was very pleased with the parma paint. It looks like the same bottle and the same colors. Is it rebranded parma, if it is please some one let us know?

It seems close, a bit thinner in the bottle, the reducer is great, do not remember Parma having reducer.

I sprayed Parma all day at 65 psi, laid flat as a board, this dries the same as Auto Air / Createx

I have a shoebox full of old Parma Faskolor airbrush paint from a guy that ran go-fast R/C vehicles with me back many years ago.

Looks like they still make the stuff, and mine is probably congealed and useless...

But - they don't have quite the color selection - I mean, they do have beige and brown - but not a nice military green:

As long as the old paint has not hardened you can thin it with Windex, that's what I've used for years to reduce my water base paints. I used some 15 year old Faskolor last month. The way I test water base paint is to put a little on your pointer finger and touch it with your thumb, as you separate them the paint should pull a 1/8 to 1/4 line before it separates. About the viscosity whole milk or light cream. I run my air at about 45-50 pounds. Hope that helps you guys a little.
I'm getting ready to try some of the new proline paint on my VS4-Pro.

Much appreciated - I'll dig 'em out and see if I have any colors I like in there!

Trick I learned with all bottled paints, wipe the top/lid and tighten it. Then store upside down.
The paint seals the container from allowing air to evaporate.
I’ve used this on floquil and faskolor.

Windex, wow! I have never heard of that! That is good to know about how to check the viscosity with your fingers. Great tips, thanks!

Just a little update on using and thinning the new proline paint. I painted the body on my VS4-10 Pro today using it. I played with 2 air brushes, air pressure ranging from 35-65 lbs, and thinning with Windex and with water. So here is the combo that got the job done for me.

I used my Badger 150 airbrush, air pressure was set at 55 lbs and I thinned the paint at 1 part water to 6 parts paint.
I'm going to start a build thread for my PRO this week and will post pics there.
Hope this helps you out!

Default Proline paint....???

Interesting! Proline said 30psi.
It won’t spray correctly at that.

When I shot Parma, I reduced that 4/1 and shot at 65psi.
What size tip is on that 150?
Same as the 155?
