| Newbee help for hard body.
Hello. I'm planning to paint an orlandoo jeep hardbody with those colours: https://deskgram.net/p/1904379421517554799_7367242997 Few questions from a noob: after sanding, washing the body and priming it with white tamiya primer, do I then mask and paint the black area first and then the red one or do I paint the whole car black and then apply the red on top? Which tamiya TS colors to use? I was thinking matte black (TS-6) and italian red (TS-8 ). Thanks for your help! Last edited by Airbus; 11-25-2018 at 02:44 PM. |

if you lay the black down first it will make the red darker. black over red would be much easier. several light coats. TAKE YOUR TIME. if you rush it will be a waste. and clear coat the heck out of it so it wont scratch off too easy. (matte clear or gloss, your choice. just be carefull not to lay the matte too heavy or it will gloss.) |
