Been using it for years. It's great stuff. The Khaki also happens to be the exact colour of the mud at my local crawling park. Here it is on a fibreglass body. And on Lexan. Both are painted on the outside and show a bit of wear and tear. It's getting hard to find around here now, seems some stores that used to carry it don't anymore. |

Exactly the kind of input I needed to hear - thanks, Tossedman! I've read your build threads long ago, just didn't stick in my head what paint you used - I'm also planning on painting on the outside, and some wear and tear is fine, just want to avoid flaking. Will likely paint black or silver from the inside to deal with hiding scrapes and scratches. You guys got Pep Boys up in your neck of the woods? That's where I saw it today... |

Nope, no Pep Boys up here. We have Canadian Tire. Just checked and they have it again. Haven't seen it there in a year. If you're painting Lexan, scuff it up a bit to give the paint some tooth to stick to.

I’ve used it on hard bodies with great success. Never tried it on lexan - opens up some color possibilities for sure!
