The Wife renews my RC Car Action every year for my Birthday. I agree, lot's of filler and only every so often content I'm really interested in. If I were paying, I probably wouldn't re-up the scrip, but since she does it's still a nice little thing to get in the mail every month.

Awesome I’ve been hoping for a boxy Chevy body. I’m hoping the a$$ end isn’t a dragger bc those 1:1s had a lot of bed but this one will need a home on one of my trucks I’m sure. I wouldn’t be upset if it was a step side either |

Frankly, and I have no beef with either, but it's nice to see anything new coming out other than Yotas and Jeeps. I like both, and in fact run both, but a bit more in terms of options is always good!

I do think this was a particularly cool 1:1 Jeep build. Guy bought an old US Mail Jeep and converted it in to an LS powered crawler. Would be awesome to do a scale version of this thing as it's a bit different than the other jeep bodies. Now, if only someone would produce a body! With some cutting and hacking, and nailing the paint, I think you could produce a pretty close knock off with Proline's '65 FJ. |

The mystery "metric" body is part of the "builder series"... Maybe it comes with plastic moulded details we have all been harping on proline about? Deal between knights and proline? |

A step side, with the bed as a separate piece is really nice. I hate the gussets between the bed and cab than many pickup bodies have. On the negative side, a sticker grille is much worse than the hard plastic grille on my Vaterra ‘72 K10. I would also like it if this body were a few years newer, as others have mentioned earlier. All that said, I think this body is pretty nice, and is probably one of my favourites right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by rkj__; 02-23-2019 at 06:02 PM. |

Nice! Now I can make a replica of Jon Baker's truck from CHiP's. Just have to swap out the grill for a GMC. I fell in love with his truck when I was a kid wathching CHiP's.

Yep it was blue with really sharp looking graphics on it, I liked the episode where they raced it in the Baja race.

| Re: 78 proline k10 I was really young in the 70’s and don’t have a strong memory of CHIPS . I do remember at one point I discovered late night reruns of Hawaii Five-o. As a kid I would set my alarm and wake up at mid nite to sneak down to the basement and watch it. The cars were pretty friggin cool in the 60’s and 70’s. That i Quote: | |
