ugh.... so close. I just wish it was the 81+ style with the square headlights. There was already a proline body that had the round headlights.

1982 GMC K2500 Traxxas Stampede, Tamiya Clod Buster Body | JConcepts MST also sells a lexan Clod body, but it's not as readily available Max Speed Technology-PRODUCTCARS - OFF-ROADMTX-1MTX-1 ...either of which could work well on a smaller platform like a CMX, CFX, Barrage, etc. Sadly, still nothing in the "standard" 12.3"ish size. I'm still strongly considering this guy: https://www.prolineracing.com/bodies...clear-body.asp for my "Wraith" after a BPC Bomber frame rail swap. Could look reasonably scale, just at ~1/8 scale. | |

| Re: 78 proline k10 replacing the grill doesn't work. The front fenders are totally different on the square headlight trucks, aside from 80 which was a transition year that used the square headlights with the old style fenders, but nobody likes to talk about those because they're terrible looking. But I still want a 12.3 version. | |

SO annoying - I just got my last issue of RC Car Action (April) today with a 32-page pullout from Pro-Line, and they don't mention these... There have been times in the past where vendors have withheld new product information from the web until print media has hit the shelf (rarely, but it HAS happened) but this wasn't one of them. Oh well, just another reason to let the subscription lapse - I only bought it because I scored a really low price, and there have been very few items of interest during the last year. I hope these are worthy releases, as the last several have had some duds among them (just my opinion...) |

They also call it "Metric Clear Body". So it cant be American right? Although the Tundra is more American than the big 3, but hey thats a different argument. |

| Re: 78 proline k10 Hey, there's an idea. Probly no less than what rpp or amain sells at anyway. I do want a set of the bfg mud terrains in the new predator rubber. Edit: went to go look and see what their price was for BFG's shipped - OUT OF STOCK!! The honeymoon is already over!! So I ordered them from RPP - in stock, at the same discount, shipped free, and I had a return credit to use - nearly zero! LOL So I get to try out the new predator rubber Mud Terrains from Proline - whoot! Last edited by Browneye; 02-13-2019 at 07:59 PM. |
