Default Decal removal? Blackfoot

A while ago I picked up a Blackfoot bodied rig. Body has the Blackfoot decals on it. I plan on doing was body/fender work and paint it some color.

Not ever owning an actual blackfoot or build one. I don't know how the decals are applied to the body. Are they like 1/24th- 1/25th scale models? That were soaked in water then applied to the body or something else?

If they are a like the models would it be possible to soak the body in water till the decals come off? Or would there be another way besides sanding them off?

They are most likely normal stickers, every hard body I've had has been that way. I'll heat them up with a blow dryer and peel them off. Some come off super easy and others make me want to trash the body altogether.

I've found goo-gone gets a lot of those hard to get decals off.

Soak in water, remove paper stickers. Then use goo gone for the adhesive.
