| Decal removal? Blackfoot
A while ago I picked up a Blackfoot bodied rig. Body has the Blackfoot decals on it. I plan on doing was body/fender work and paint it some color. Not ever owning an actual blackfoot or build one. I don't know how the decals are applied to the body. Are they like 1/24th- 1/25th scale models? That were soaked in water then applied to the body or something else? If they are a like the models would it be possible to soak the body in water till the decals come off? Or would there be another way besides sanding them off? |

They are most likely normal stickers, every hard body I've had has been that way. I'll heat them up with a blow dryer and peel them off. Some come off super easy and others make me want to trash the body altogether.

I've found goo-gone gets a lot of those hard to get decals off.

Soak in water, remove paper stickers. Then use goo gone for the adhesive.
