A molded grill should be standard these days imo

Yeah I agree, hopefully they release the STL files for a 3D printable grill soon, they've got files for the roll bar and steering wheel up now and it says "more to come"

I like that its a departure from the Metric body and its pricey 3D printed bits, I'd credit Redcat for starting this (free 3D printing files) trend though.

I can't stand the thought of a body with a sticker grille. I'm not a scale freak by any means. I don't even run an interior or fender liners in my truck, but my RTR Ascender K10 has spoiled me with a nice grille, and I would not want to downgrade that. My truck gets a bunch of new scratches almost every time I run it, stickers would take a beating.

It's a similar rendition of it's 1:1 counterpart, about as good as the Colorado. This is NOT a RC4WD hardbody.

I'm still making my Element Enduro a Dodge.

Maybe it will fit this thing...

chris i was thinking the same thing, my grandpa had a 1985ish ramcharger but at $70... maybe RC Nerds or James will print up a fix eventually but man that's a tough pill to swallow at that price (says the guy who bought a $300 3D printed body from korea lol)

Looks like they're sticking with the retro theme on the chassis too, the OG SCX10 axles and plastic links.

Body looks OK, but I do wish they would start incorporating molded grills and lenses. Those details sure improve the look of lexan, and having to pay the Shapeways premium sucks. Nevermind having to order the parts as well.

The potential for this body to look nice is there. It just needs those hard plastic molded or 3D printed bits.

What's up with the fit of the top? Looks like it was hacked off of something else and stuck on there. I was looking forward to a Ramcharger body of this era, but...are you kidding!!! Maybe it's the person that threw it together that abused it. Proline needs to throw out that beige paint, it's been used too much on the wrong things.

I agree with the previous statements regarding the grill, and while your at it, bumpers, mirrors, and door handles. Do all that and then price it comparable to Axials 69 Blazer. Maybe Traxxas will bring out a 78/79 Ramcharger with the same quality as the new Blazer. Wouldn't that be something?

That does look rather terrible, I'd like to know what the deal is as well.

I will give it one thing: the rear door on the topper looks SPOT ON to a vintage glasstite.

And it would be neat if we could get the interior tray separate for the enduro haha

Wow... the top looks like a square peg in a round hole.

Something about the proportions looks off to me. The door sides are either too tall or the door windows are too short.

Seems it's an alternative to have either the pick-up or camper config, they don't appear to be entirely fully functional to do both.

The instructions for the body say if you intend to run the camper shell you don't trim the "roof" out of the cab, it supports the camper & my bet is it keeps the B pillars from collapsing inwards which I think is whats happened to that orange one by the look relative to the camper top.

ok that looks "a little" better.
i would also like to point out at least its not another jeep. the execution might be a bit flawed, but it seems proline has been giving us some decent variety lately.

yes this is me trying to like it lol

also following this on SGB and i'm looking forward to seeing how it looks when matt reveals his.

Personally I think it's fantastic - and that's a great pic of a Ramcharger. The dodge fanboyz wanted something and they got it - kudos to Proline, they listen. Execution is what it is, make it do or do without.

The Colorado was just too cool cuz I have one for my daily driver. But it's too narrow and no scale bits, so it's pretty boring. I ran it for the trail run at PLBF, and otherwise it sits on a shelf. But by god I've got a Colorado 4x4!!
