Default First custom body, looking for advice from the pros!

I have a custom 10x10 HEMTT i'm putting together and can't find a cab with the right dimensions so i'm going to scratch build one out of styrene. I had a few questions for those of you who do this regularly.

What is the best bonding agent to use if I need a little time to work with a joint? I have plastistruct solvent that works awesome to bond styrene but some of the joints are very long so I feel like i'm rushing to get them lined up after putting on the solvent. I worry i'm either not going to get them placed correctly or the joint won't be fully bonded.

What do people typically use as a filler for joints/holes that can be sanded?

Any advice is much appreciated.
