Default Proline 46' Dodge power wagon + Honcho rear

I really love the cab on the 46' power wagon body and I think it would look really cool with a honcho cage on the rear. My only question is I am not sure how well the top of the cage would line up with the roof on the power wagon, or how they line up in general. As anybody else tried this configuration or can anyone tell me how wide the power wagon is at the roof line so I can make plans?

I've got a PW body and I compared it to the Honcho cage. This was just an eyeball judgement. I did not remove the cage itself and try to line it up on the PW body. The Honcho cab is longer, so there is that issue too. Aside from that, the PW body isn't much narrower on the roof. I thought it would be. I do think the lower end of the cage would be wider than the PW body. I personally don't think that particular cage would be a good fit for the PW unless you shortened the wheelbase, and even then it might look like a hack job. You've got curves vs. square.

The cab length was something I did not consider, Thank you for comparing them for me. I'll just ditch the cage and go for the full pw body because I love those lines and prefer the WW2 area vehicles in general.

Yes it certainly did and it didn't add a lot of weight above the chassis, very nice.

1 of my power wagon's has the ascender rear cage mounted to it. I cut the center out of the cage length wise and put the 2 sides back together. The rear cage is the exact same width as the cab. This way keeps the cage tucked in and it doesn't snag or get hung up on anything (rocks,trees,etc.).
Other power wagon the bed has been bobbed to make room for a winch on the rear bumper.
I used the proline rear cage on 1 power wagon but didn't like how it stuck out past the sides of the cab. Just to wide for my taste. So I cut the back off the 1500 Ram body and mounted the proline cage to it. Perfect fit width/height wise.
