looks Great!!! How would you rate this against a TRX-4 or Axial 3. I'm looking for my 1st Crawler . < The looks of this are killer > Is the kit any more difficult ? Would you recommend this kit for a general crawler? |

Does anyone have a J45C and a Proline Power Wagon body that they can compare and/or take photos of the 2 side by side?

I just got the J45C body I ordered from Amian and I was expecting the rear cage/bed to be heavier than I'd want but good lord it feels like a brick! I also got a PL Cliffhanger body and I immediately noticed after picking both up that the MST body was significantly heavier. The cab and all of the cage work (still bagged up, may have some extra weight from spru's) weighed in at 1 lb 3.6 oz The cab all by itself minus the grill and any other detail bits weighs in at 5.1 oz So the cage comes in at nearly 1 lb (14.5 oz) Well I figured I'd be making my own rear cage anyway Did you still need some comparison pics? I can try to get some later this evening if you'd like. Last edited by HumboldtEF; 03-31-2021 at 03:17 PM. |

Hi all! First post here just found this thread searching for examples of this body. I have the Trx-4 crawler with proline fj40 body right now but am unhappy with the size, so I've pulled the trigger on the MST j45c! I am pretty sure I will have to cut the chassis rails at least and maybe make some other mods. Keen to hear if anyone here has mounted this body on a trx-4 and what changes were needed? The frame must be cut and drilled for mounting the hinge. I used .064 x1/4” brass i think it was to shim hinge as the frame is wider than mst. Other than that all went well except I didn’t use the front body post just used traxxas post
