Default Looking for some advice on a safe cleat coat to use

I'm in the process of doing my first weathered a hard body. Actually my first hard body period. The whole painting plastics thing is a new world for me so it's been a lot of reading up until now. I used Krylon fusion for the base coats then did a wash with water based acryllic paints. I have some rusty iron paint that I haven't decided if I want to use yet or not.

Once I get it looking how I want, I'll need to throw on a protective clear coat. Last thing I want to do it F' up the whole thing after 3-4 days of painting at the last step. Looking for advice from those of you experienced with this process on what matte clear coats you guys used that worked well over Fusion with acryllic washes that isn't going to melt everything and leave it a wrinkled mess.

If you've used Krylon, then stick with that brand, that way you're using the same chemical composition. Krylon makes a couple different Clear's :https://www.bing.com/search?q=krylon...c=IE-SearchBox

Whichever brand you go with, look for one that is UV resistant. Without it may yellow over time.

If totally cured then tamiya TS lacquer will work...... mist first coat on LIGHT.... wait ten and mist two more on, waiting 10 between. The lacquer is not all that “hot” and misting will work well. It also will cure rock hard. I would be more concerned about the fusion chipping

Krylon should work great for your project. I've used it on many different bodies including lexan with no problems
