Reminds me of dodge, wish it was a tad stretched like Chevy but maybe this is a better approach angle.

I see a "free candy" build for comps in my future. Maybe paul bearer driving and one of those BTS kids in the pass seat |

The front wheel wells look like they are too far towards the rear. The centre of the wheel well on a 70s domestic van usually is approximately lined up with the front door seam. I understand they needed to make some changes to enlarge the wheel wells that much, but I was expecting this one to have a fantastic approach angle. I think they should have stole a bit of realestate from the front bumper, and moved the wheel wells forward a bit. Then, to maintain the wheelbase, they could have shortened the van just a touch. Overall though, for an unlicensed body, it looks very Dodge like to me. |

I could see people chopping off that whole front fascia and bumper section of the body to replace with 3D printed grille and aftermarket bumper.

On the Spec sheet they're offering downloadable files for printing a wing, ladder, visor & window louvers I got to agree with rkj, they made the front fender cut too far back. If you look at the 1:1 above, the back of the front fender drops at the wing window. Last edited by Mike Flea; 05-19-2020 at 02:32 PM. |

| Re: A PL Van body is coming Yep, great idea, poor follow-through. People yelled at Proline for years telling them they wanted tire coverage, and now everything they put out has weird proportions. I wish they would just make T-maxx size bodies that were proportioned correctly again. |

As much as I've been begging for a van, I hate it... and I'll be ordering it anyway.

I was a bit worried that the side profile/wheelwells wouldnt fit in and well I think they properly botched it. The front wheelwell has been shifted rearward far too much. I used my amazing photoshop skills to overlay where Proline shifted the wheelwell. I know not every body satisfies everyone but this brings up a good point; why does this need to be made to fit giant 4.75" tires and why doesnt Proline explore the small tire segment more. Had this body been made with small tires in mind I think the result could have been much better/closer to the "real" thing. |

I agree. Same thing happened with the gladiator. Now that RKJ and you all have pointed it out, I definitely wish the front was pushed more forward. Oh well, I’m still on board and excited for it. Last edited by Topher Builds; 05-19-2020 at 03:30 PM. |
