A PL Van body is coming
 

Proline has some exciting new releases coming, including a smaller 1.9 3.85” BFG Krawler. But I just noticed this on their website and I could not be more excited. I’ve been wanting a Van body for a new build so this release is serendipitous. Those new class 0 krawlers would be a great fit on this body.

Haha right! We’re going to see some killer themes out of this. Possibilities are basically endless with a Van. Like a huge canvas.

Going to start dropping some themes here that I’m thinking of going with. I may end up with several of these :roll:

That was worth getting on the insider notification list. A van would have some serious possibilities for sure!! Only so much you could do with a Lunch Box.

Where did you see the 3.85" spec on the new tires? Been looking and haven't seen anything about how tall they are.

If it's the "Free Candy" van body that I'm thinking of then I have zero interest, but it will be cool to see what people do with it.

I've been begging for a van body for years, but specifically '92-'14 Ford E-series. Oh well. I suppose if it's a Chevy G-series I'll have to track down a Tony Danza figure to put in the driver's seat.

I have a feeling it will be a mix between the big three's vans from the 70's....

All three have similar wheel arches and same basic shape.....grill stickers and tail light stickers may be the only Id we get.

I'm definitely in on the smaller BFGs.... I'll have to see the Van body when it gets released though.

Seems likely. A 74 Ford would be cool though. Or a 1970 Chevy.

Odd thing I noticed - they are also showing a 2nd SKU for "70's Rock Van Tough-Color (Black) Body SKU: 3552-18" that looks like it will run about $10 more...

Just a pre-painted lexan body?

Some new ruggedized paint?

Or even a material other than Lexan, like those basher bodies they have for some Traxxas/Arrma bodies?
