Default I bringeth the Datsun!

Something new for my Ultra. I made a 3D grill and bed hinge for it. I'll run velco up front like all my bodies.

Awesome! I'm exited to see these bodies re-purposed

I assume this is the Kaiju body

I snagged another clear one last night. Checked this morning and couldn't find any clear ones in stock anywhere.

Would you mind checking the width and length of the body? We were trying to figure that out when it first got shown.

Overall 17.25"
Wheelbase is somewhere around 12.3" (I already trimmed off the fenders)
Width 7"

It fits my VS410 like a glove. Sliders, frame rails, etc. all line up perfectly.

*Manufacturer advertised wheel base is 309mm

I knew the Kaiju would end up as a scale Datsun!

Great work on the grill!👍🏼

Lovin' it!

In high school a best bud of mine had an orange one, with a beer tap shifter, bench seat, and a cut-n-shut rollbar from a Chevy K10 barely mounted in the bed - ran the smallest Goodyear Wranglers sold at the time on aluminum 5-slot wheels, used to hit the mud bogs at speed and just hydroplane across - I used to stand in the bed hanging on to the roll bar but it only had a couple bolts holding it on, got pretty scary bouncing around back there...

Sigh... I suppose I'll end up starting a body swap program with my trucks - I do NOT need anymore vehicles but I do want more bodies!

Dat Grill!

Looks great, guessing you may have designed some light buckets to round it out?

My body collection is also growing at disproportional rate these days...lol

And this was about an hour of work. I'm going to work on a more refined version in the coming days. My friend asked for one witj the other style more boxy headlights.

Thats it! Been messing with the idea of building a “class 2.5” rig to bang on. That pic sold me on it. Might just borrow your body idea!

Thanks!

Yeah, the deeper grill might even be nicer. It’s always a treat to see a new/different body. What you’ve done there not only looks great but is perfect as a performance body. A++

My clear filament is still lost in space...aka in transit to next destination. Someday I'll have headlights lol!
