I ordered from Asiatees on July 4th. Their chat is saying that it's delayed to mid-October for me.

I ordered on the 19th of June from AsiaTees. Just got my shipping notice.

Going to pair it with a Hobbywing Fusion 1800. My first MST build, but I've been looking for a new project and the body looked too good to pass up.

So now I have a shipping notice... I guess the chat representative didn't know the actual shipping dates for my specific order...

Mine showed up! inner fenders are included. They are molded out of their own piece of black lexan.

Don't have time to tear into building it yet but packaging is very nice. Body looks good. Can't wait to get started.

I got mine as well several days ago. Haven't even opened the shipping box yet LOL! Too many projects right now!

I assume the body is clear? No real pictures of the unassembled kit on MST's site that I can see.

I am stoked to see some of these on the board. This one is definitely tempting.

Info about this model still seems to be light on the ground.

I've just written a fairly detailed and photo-heavy article about my build and testing experience with this model. Find that here. (There's a video at the end; it'll go live 15 hours from time of this post, so if it doesn't work for you right now, it will tomorrow!)

This article is a companion to the video; the article gives a lot of detail about the kit and the build while the video is more about the driving experience and a general overview of the model. Hope someone finds this helpful! Cheers

Nice review and accurate based on where I am with my build. I wasn't as fortunate with the diffs not needing shims and I only got two shims with my kit so both went on the front axle. Have to pick up a pack of 8MM shims from the LHS this week.

What color paint did you use? I really like that.

I agree on the wheels. Very disappointed in those. I was able to order a set of the MST five spoke from the online retailer I got my kit. They didn't have the black set in stock so I ordered the chrome but I'm going to paint them matte black anyway.

Thanks for the advise on the foams. I think I'll have some laying around I can put in place of the star cut ones. Looking forward to the video once it's up.

Thanks, glad it was helpful!

Paint was tamiya aluminium blue with some copper and red behind it. Probably some regular blue as well, I really was unprepared for this paint job! Came up ok even so, thankfully!

Yeah, the wheels and foams were a real disappointment. Thankfully that's one area we have some good options, though really we shouldn't have to be looking right when it's new! Oh well!

Edit. video is up! It's a driving companion to the build article. Cheers.

(Video drops 6 hours from time of this post. Sorry to make you wait. I'm still experimenting with release timing and currently, 1pm local time is what I'm testing, hence the delay! Thanks for bearing with me!)

My thoughts are I need to hit the outside of this with flat clear to tone the gloss down. Already did that with the fender flares (painted black from the inside). What do you all think?

Another reason for this is I finally got my kit and paint and now MST decides to offer this as an RTR....in what looks like the exact same color. Low gloss may make it look different.

Were yall missing the tire carrier? I couldn't find one in the box so I printed one up.

I don't thing they come with spare tire carriers.

Love the camel yellow. Where'd you get the Land Rover stickers?

Picked them up on ebay. The sheet had a few sizes of the small emblems and the fit pretty well on the grill and license plate fixture.
